Visitors from Iran were recently hosted by the congregation of Greenhills Parish Church in East Kilbride.

The Rev John Brewster, minister at Greenhills said: “At a time of political tensions between America and Iran, Greenhills Parish Church are playing their small part for peace. They hosted Mohammad and Faezeh Otoofifrom Iran.

“They visited the local hospital, the church, a neighbour’s house, the local charity store, enjoyed dinner with guests, and in the evening a congregational singsong of Scottish songs and eating trifle, and a good time was had by all.”
