LONG SERVICE

At a service in Currie Kirk the Rev Susan Galloway presented 50 year long service certificates to three elders: Bill Porteous, Grant Gordon, and Bill Wood. A fourth elder, Janet Steven – the first lady Elder in Currie Kirk – was unable to be present due to bad weather, but received her certificate at a later date.

The Presbytery of the North East and the Northern Isles held a special service as part of the visit of the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Rt Rev Dr Shaw Paterson. Hosted by Inverurie West Church, the service featured the presentation of Long Service Certificates.
