Fun things

MY name is Martha Mary Cook and I am eight years old.

I am writing to tell you about some of the fun things that have been going on in Jedburgh and Oxnam Parish Church.

At the Christmas Tree Festival in Jedburgh Parish Church I enjoyed the carols and I couldn’t help but sing along to them. I also loved seeing other kids round about my age in the church. There were over 25 trees, all were beautifully decorated and the twinkling lights made it feel just magical.

The pantomime in Oxnam Parish Church was really fun to watch. It was also really funny. I loved the ice cream. I also loved seeing lots of families in the church.

It was very entertaining and hopefully some of these families will come back to the church.

There was a Messy Church in both Oxnam and Jedburgh.

I loved the crafts and hearing the Christmas story about Jesus’s birth and I also loved the songs as well at both. I loved decorating the angel and star biscuits. We also made decorations for the Jedburgh Messy Church Christmas tree. www.jedburghoandt.co.uk¤
