Christian Aid gathering
Christian Aid Scotland is asking people to save the date and keep February 25 free for its annual supporter event.
The online event takes place from 10.30-midday (on Zoom) with the opportunity to hear about the focus and theme of Christian Aid Week 2025.
Charlie Meiklejohn, Christian Aid Scotland’s community relations and fundraising manager said:
“This year’s Gathering will introduce our supporters to our work in Guatemala, which is the focus of Christian Aid Week 2025. It’s a country being hit hard by climate change and we’re looking forward to hearing from our partner how agricultural training is making a huge difference to families and their ability to thrive.
“We’ll also be hearing from some of our supporters about the amazing and creative ways they’ve been fundraising. It can help spark ideas when you hear what’s gone well – we hope to generate some creative energy and inspiration.”
The Gathering aims to inform, educate and inspire about the work of Christian Aid, which is preparing to mark its 80th year in 2025. All are welcome, whether you’re a long-term supporter or would like to get involved for the very first time.
