Set apart
Christine Colliar was set apart as a Reader during worship at the recent meeting of the International Presbytery in Lausanne. The service was led by the Rev Betsi Thane, Presbytery Moderator, and the sermon was preached by the Rev David Coleman, chaplain of Eco-Congregation Scotland.
Christine has been a member of the Church of Scotland in Geneva for 35 years, serving in the choir, Sunday School and Youth Group. She felt called to a more formal role in the Church which led to a period of discernment for Readership, then placements in the Scots Kirk, Lausanne, and the American Episcopal Church, Geneva. She is also in training for Ordained Local Ministry.
