Real Advent Calendar
The makers of the Real Advent Calendar have appealed to supporters to be ‘champions’ of the 2024 version.
Launching this year’s range in September, the Meaningful Chocolate Company stressed that it doesn’t have a large marketing budget, and relies on people spreading the word and placing bulk orders.
The Real Advent Calendar was first produced in 2013, and aims to keep the story of Jesus’ birth at the heart of Christmas. With treats made from Fairtrade chocolate, it includes a 24-page book telling the story of Christmas, with activities and challenges for children. Money raised from sales of the calendar will also help provide care and support for mothers and new babies in African villages supported by the Funzi and Bodo trust.
The calendar costs £5.50 each, but you can get a case of 18 for £4.95 each and free delivery.
The Meaningful Chocolate Christmas range also includes a Christmas Blessings bar of chocolate, a sharing box, chocolate orange Christingle and Host of Angels Christmas tree decorations. You can also sponsor a pallet of calendars to a food bank.
