One of the Church of Scotland’s churches in London will be a venue for a new literary festival celebrating Scottish writing.
The St Andrew’s Book Festival, from November 25 – December 1, will include contributions from Scottish authors including Alexander McCall Smith, Ian Rankin and Liz Lochead, journalists James Naughtie and Gavin Esler, and broadcaster Lorraine Kelly.
It will be run by Scots in London, an organisation bringing together Scottish organisations in the capital, including the two Church of Scotland congregations: St Columba’s Pont Street and Crown Court Church in Covent Garden. St Columba’s has already announced that it will be a major venue for the festival.
