Moderator helps mark anniversary
A programme of events commemorating the 250th anniversary of building of the present East Kilbride Old Parish Church sanctuary in 1774 began on January 14 with a visit by the Moderator of the General Assembly, the Rt Rev Sally Foster-Fulton, who preached the sermon at the Sunday morning service. This was followed by a congregational lunch in the church hall when the Moderator presented Long Service Certificates to eleven elders and leaders.
