Following the letter in the November issue, we used to go to the Livingstone Centre for Sunday School picnics from church in Hamilton.
Exhibits since that time in the 1950s had become very tired indeed. However, I have just returned to see refurbished exhibition and it was so worth a visit.
Staff are so helpful too. I discovered that my ancestor had lived there and worked as a dyer. So a double reason to visit.
