Long service

Over 400 years of service at Monifieth Parish Church, near Dundee, was celebrated on September 17. The Rev Tim Thorpe presented certificates to seven elders and a further three, who were unable to attend, were also honoured. Christian Macdonald and Colin Hunter, elders at Dunbarney and Forgandenny Parish Church in Bridge of Earn, near Perth, have been presented with long service certificates. Both have served locally for 30 years and Colin also has many more with another parish.

Longniddry Parish Church presented five elders with long service certificates. The presentation was part of the harvest service hence the minister holding a pineapple!
