I have been walking from Land’s End to John O’Groats in the far north Highlands of Scotland, meeting along the way many kind people who helped me when my tent blew down in Storm Betty. I also stayed at Dalmally, near Oban, where I found a Christian community for prayer and worship and provided a place of retreat a lot different to London.
On my long walk north, walking on the A9 and, if possible, coastal beaches, on passing through one lovely village just north of Inverness, I stopped for the night in Brora, camping by the harbour. On Sunday August 20 it was nice to be welcomed for Sunday morning service to Clyne (Church of Scotland) church, though I was saddened to hear the church would not have a minister after September 17.
I would like to put an SOS out for Clyne Church.
God bless.
