Messy church for pets
St Ninian’s Parish Church, Corstorphine, in Edinburgh held their first Messy Church for Pets on Sunday January 29.
As well as pet-related craft tables, the local vets were on hand to give advice and join the fun.
A short informal blessing service followed, and pets were given the opportunity to be individually blessed and receive a certificate marking the occasion.
The picture shows some of the attendees with the Rev Derek Munn OLM (third from left, with Crunchie) from Dalmeny and Queensferry Parish Churches, who led the service, and the Rev James Aitken (second from right), minister of St Ninian’s.
