In the November Crossword the clue 2 down was ‘City near the Red Sea (7).’ The word Jericho fitted the spaces and letters, but could not be right. Jericho is fairly near the Dead Sea, but is about as far from the Red Sea as Edinburgh is from the Clyde Coast, so I waited with interest to see which city unknown to me was the correct answer. Horror! In the December issue the answer given is indeed Jericho!

Oh dear! Still enjoyed doing the two Crosswords though!
