A Teddy Bear Festival organised by the congregation of Moffat: St Andrew’s raised a total of £670.
The Festival, which featured dozens of teddy bears in different guises, was organised to raise funds for the church’s redevelopment plans to make the building accessible to everyone.
Bears were featured in a variety of activities – from baking cakes, to playing games and even a couple being married by a minister. They slept overnight in the church and took part in worship the next day.
Visitors were able to buy some marmalade and rehome some preloved bears.
