SHORT COURSES

Trinity College at the University of Glasgow has announced a programme of short courses to take place in early 2023.

The four courses, running between January and March, are designed for church leaders and members to take in their spare time.

Liturgy & Prayer in Christian Worship (Wednesdays, in person in Glasgow) will help develop skills in planning, writing, producing and presenting worship materials, including spoken liturgies and prayer.

Ministry & Mission in Digital Culture (Mondays, online) offers a way of engaging cultural challenges to faith and Christian practice since the rise of digital media and the recent rapid move into church presence online.

Elders & Local Leaders (Mondays, online) explores the changing role of local leaders in the Church of Scotland and other Reformed churches, especially in the midst of difficult church change. Creative Writing as Spiritual Reflection (Thursdays, online) will enable and support the use of creative writing as a means of theological reflection upon personal, spiritual and contemporary experience.

Each course costs £207, although there is a subsidy available for people from Priority Areas.
