On August 14, a long service certificate was presented to May Lamont of the Shore Kirk, at Strone, in Argyll Presbytery. Mrs Lamont’s connections with Strone (St Columba’s) Church stretch over 100 years.
May was the volunteer manager for many years at the Churches Charity Shop and says she enjoyed every minute of it. Pictured are May with the Session Clerk, Jim Ritchie, Interim Moderator the Rev Janet MacKellar, and members of the congregation.
