WASTEWATCHERS

Around 150 children and young people attended the first day of ‘Wastewatchers’, the annual Family Week held at Kinross Parish Church, with support from other churches in the town.

The children were able to meet all together in the church for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic, enjoying songs, games and drama before heading off to separate groups by age to hear a Bible story and have some fun with creative crafts and games.

The Rev Alan Reid, minister at Kinross Parish Church said: “This year’s Family Week has an environmental theme, looking at God’s creation of the world. Through the teaching and fun we pray that the children and young people, and the team of helpers themselves, will become aware of God’s love for them as individuals.”
