Members of the new parish of Traprain, in East Lothian, are pictured on a walk up Traprain Law, one of a series of social events organised throughout August as pandemic restrictions were lifted.
Prior to the walk, members of the parish had been unable to meet socially since it was formed from the union of the congregations of Athelstaneford, Traprain and Whitekirk in May. The series of events also included a talk on the Saltire and the work of the Scottish Flag Trust, a Café Quiz run by the church’s young people, and a ‘moving and uplifting’ Songs of Praise service.
