RETIREMENT

After more than 33 years, the Rev John Brewster of East Kilbride: Greenhills retired at the beginning of August.

The church was raised from a Church Extension Charge into Full Status at Christmas 2020, and the minister has played a key role in the local community, particularly in hospital chaplaincy, international relations and as a stage performer.

Covid restrictions meant that a Communion service and family reception will have to wait, but the minister is pictured during his last service.
