A banner capturing some of the work of Dundonald Parish Church in Ayrshire over the last year has been created by two members of the congregations.

Frances Mayor and Shirley Shaw were among a small team who designed and constructed the banner, which is hung at the front of the church providing a warm and colourful welcome for those returning to worship.

The banner captures some of the key positive moments of the church’s life during the Covid-19 pandemic, including the distribution of seasonal bags to over 250 children in the village in spring, summer, autumn, Christmas and Easter and a series of eye-catching displays over the last 18 months offering hope and remembrance to the village. The banner also reflects the church’s increased online engagement and improvements to the website during the pandemic.
