Following an invitation in the Guild’s ‘Lockdown’ newsletter to show their love by having a virtual soup lunch and donating to Guild projects, Springfield Cambridge Guild took up the challenge and have so far raised £395.
In the summer one of their members made jam from the fruit in her garden which raised £265.05, bringing the total amount raised for the projects to £660.05.
In addition the members were asked to submit their most exotic soup recipe. The winner was Moira Aitken for her recipe for coral soup. Moira is pictured enjoying her soup.
