Aled Jones requires no introduction to Life and Work readers. The singer and presenter has been a familiar figure across the BBC, ITV and Classic FM on radio and television over the years (including Songs of Praise) since shooting to fame with his solo of the theme from the animation The Snowman as a schoolboy.
Over the years he has interviewed many people of faith in his role as a presenter and has a strong faith in God, which has sustained him through his life.
Drawing on spiritual wisdom from thousands of years ago to the present day, he has pulled together a collection of daily thoughts and words designed to offer inspiration and wisdom day after day.
The premise to the book is perhaps best summed up in his introduction to the hardback: ‘The world has changed so much due to the Coronavirus pandemic and everyone has suffered in some way – some much more than others. I hope the words of wisdom in this book transport you somewhere else and offer comfort and hope in equal measure.’
The book can be picked up daily or dipped in to periodically.
