Canadian connection

You might be interested to know that as a result of your reference in the January edition, with an accompanying photo, to my celebration of forty years in the ordained ministry, I was contacted after a lapse of thirty five years by a friend from Canada.

She and I met in 1977 while she was studying in Edinburgh for a year and I was doing a placement at Mayfield Church with the Rev Bill McDonald. She spent a New Year with my family and for a while we kept in touch.

Now thanks to Life and Work reaching Canada we are communicating again! Well done, Life and Work!
