TABEETHA SCHOOL SEEKS NEW PRINCIPAL
The Church of Scotland’s only school is looking for a new Principal.
Tabeetha School in Jaffa, Israel, is an interfaith and international school of 330 children from ages 5-18, and has existed for over 150 years.
The Church’s Middle East manager, Kenny Roger said: “Children learn together in English, studying the English GCSE and A-level curriculum, with a focus on reconciliation, tolerance, and peace, and is often seen as a beacon of hope in a troubled land. The school is unashamedly Christian in its ethos, and plays a large part in the local community.”
The post is offered for a period of two years from July 2019.
Mr Roger added that the role afforded plenty of opportunities to discover the land of Christ’s birth, and is supported by the two Church of Scotland ministers that live in the country. Applications are welcomed from those who have experience of leadership roles within the education sector, and who are looking for a unique challenge at this stage of their career.
