EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE FOR RURAL CHURCHES
The Mission and Discipleship Council of the Church of Scotland has made available two sets of audio visual equipment for events in rural churches.
The council’s Rural Working Group purchased the equipment – including a PA, wireless microphones, projector, DVD player, laptop and instructions – after discovering that lack of equipment was a barrier to running events in rural venues.
One box of equipment is stored in Edinburgh, the other in Drumnadrochit, and they are free to use.
Secretary of the Rural Working Group, Hannah Sanderson, said: “We hope that by providing this equipment local communities can use their local church buildings for a wider range of events, and not have to look to venues in the nearest town.”
To book the equipment and arrange delivery, contact Mission and Discipleship on mandd@churchofscotland.org.uk or 0131 225 5722. For more information about the Rural Working Group visit www.churchofscotland.org.uk/connect/rural church
