FALKIRK ANNIVERSARY
Lauriston Church in Falkirk celebrated its 125th anniversary with a special service on Sunday October 28.
At the service, a presentation was made to session clerk William Bell, who was ordained an elder over 50 years ago. Mr Bell was given a waistcoat and tie in Church of Scotland tartan, and a member of the congregation, Jean Rutherford, made a matching preaching stole for the minister, the Rev Dr Mary Henderson, and a pulpit fall from fabric ordered through the World Mission Council.
